Here’s a general step-by-step guide on how to install the Highrise Booster throttle controller. Please note that exact steps may vary slightly depending on your vehicle make and model.

Step 1: Turn Off the Ignition

Ensure your vehicle is completely turned off. Remove the key from the ignition and wait at least 5–10 minutes to let the ECU power down. This prevents any errors or faults during installation.

Step 2: Locate the Accelerator Pedal Sensor Connector

Find the electronic throttle pedal under the dashboard (above the accelerator pedal). You’ll see a connector plugged into the top or side of the pedal assembly.

Step 3: Disconnect the Stock Pedal Connector

Gently press the clip and unplug the original connector from the accelerator pedal.

Step 4: Connect the Highrise Booster Harness

Plug the Highrise Booster wiring harness into:

  • The accelerator pedal (female end of the harness to the pedal)

  • The original vehicle plug (male end of the harness)

This makes a T-connection without cutting or splicing any wires.

Step 5: Mount the Controller Unit

Stick the control display unit onto the dashboard or anywhere easily visible and reachable using the provided adhesive or bracket. Ensure it does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving.

Step 6: Route the Cable Neatly

Tuck the cables behind interior panels or under mats to keep them hidden and tidy. Use zip ties if needed.

Step 7: Turn On the Vehicle

Start your vehicle to check if the display turns on. If connected properly, the unit should power up and show the current mode.

Step 8: Test the Modes

Cycle through modes using the control buttons or mobile app (if supported via Bluetooth). Begin with Normal or Eco mode and ensure smooth pedal operation before switching to more aggressive settings.
